Leo Stoff, BA, NASM-CPT is the owner and lead trainer of Beyond The Gym. Leo graduated from Truman State University with a degree in psychology and has spent the last 20 years using his degree to motivate and inspire people to create a strong, healthy lifestyle. His involvement in strength training began as a means of injury prevention and in 1998 he was asked to share his knowledge by leading fitness classes at the local community college and YMCA. From there Leo continued to teach classes at various places and shortly after began one-on-one personal training with people of varying abilities and specialty populations. Leo is the strength director at Swim Bike Run and leads the PE program at Villa Di Maria Montessori School. Leo believes that "there's always a road to take you where you want to go, but sometimes you need someone to show you the way."

Casey Stoff, MA, Y.E.S
Casey's primary formal education is in speech language pathology. She works as a full time speech therapist in a local elementary school. Casey's interest in health and fitness was fostered by Leo's enthusiasm for personal training. As co-owner of Beyond the Gym, Casey helps Leo with office and client management. Her background in working with children lead to a desire to help kids not only within the walls of the school but also with their physical health and athletic ability. As a Youth Exercise Specialist Casey works with kids of all abilities. Students who want to improve overall speed, agility and strength participate in her Sports Conditioning classes. She also enjoys working with the group of kids who aren't in to sports but want to care for their bodies through balance, coordination and flexibility exercises.
